Don'ts
Too many harsh chemicals.
Have you ever gone through ingredients list of your shampoo, hair conditioner or even the hair oil you use. Unfortunately most of the top brands and common companies in India are making hair care products which have too many cheap and harsh chemicals in them. They might provide short-term shine but it damages your hairs in the long run. Always go for hair products which are free from sulfates, parabens, mineral oils, artificial fragrances and synthetic colours. Another way is to refrain from using too many hair care products on your hairs. If you do, make sure to wash them off before you go to sleep.
Not oiling
Many youngsters these days don't oil their hair. Oiling the hairs have multidimensional benefits if done in the right way. If you have an oily scalp, oiling your hair 1 to 2 times a week is good enough and if you have a dry scalp consider oiling your hair 3 to 4 times a week.
For dry scalp, oil your hairs and leave it overnight and let it nourish your scalp and if you have oily scalp oiling your hairs one hour before bath is good enough.
Using warm oil and massaging the hair in circular motion instantly improve the blood circulation. The oil seeps into the the pores of the scalp easily and nourishes it.

Coconut oil is a multi purpose hair oil it suits all types of hairs. If you are fighting dandruff then you should consider using badam Rogan oil. And if you have dry hair then mustard oil is best for you.
Combing wet hair
Hair is most vulnerable when it is wet. Wet hairs are prone to breakage and therefore you should deal carefully.
Whenever you are out of shower let your hair dry a bit and then comb them. Combing wet hairs makes the hairs brittle which leads to breakage. also you should not vigorously rub towel on wet hairs. Always gently tap the hairs to dry them out. Some people go to sleep with wet hair this should be avoided.
Heat
Heat in any form is damaging for hairs. Do not use dryer to dry the hairs or heat rod for your hairs on a daily basis. Once in a while is ok but don't let it become a habit. No doubt vitamin d is helpful for hair growth and health but excessive exposure to ultraviolet radiations from the sun should be avoided as it sucks the much needed moisture from the hairs and make the hairs dry. Avoid hot shower always wash your hairs which freshwater
Stress
High stress levels are closely associated with hair loss. Stress increases the hormone called cortisol, which feeds on protein in the form of hair. This protein is lost in the form of hair, excessive use of social media, Heavy workload pressure to excel in exams, emotional turmoil, are the common reasons of high stress levels.
